I’m Linley Glover, a nurse with over 19 years of experience in healthcare and a lifelong passion for elder care. I founded Dementia Insights to bring empathy-based dementia education to life—helping care teams, families, and communities better understand what it feels like to live with dementia.
My mom used to tell a story about me as a child—how, at just eight years old, I’d hop on my bike after school and ride around to visit our elderly neighbors. I’d spend the afternoons playing Rummikub and Skip-Bo with them, simply enjoying their company. That early love for connection and care only grew stronger over time, and it’s at the heart of the work I do today.
In addition to my nursing background, I’ve also had the privilege of teaching in the CNA program at Alvin Community College, helping future caregivers build the skills and compassion needed to serve others well.
At Dementia Insights, I use the Virtual Dementia Tour® to provide immersive training across a wide range of settings—from skilled nursing and assisted living to hospitals, schools, churches, and first responder groups. These hands-on sessions open minds, shift perspectives, and help participants respond with greater compassion and clarity.
Whether I’m training professionals or supporting families, my goal is the same: to bridge the gap between knowledge and empathy—because everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, understanding, and care.
